Guayaquil is a big city in the country Ecuador (more about Ecuador itineraries) with a population of 1,952,029. Furthermore, it offers you the possibility to relax next toby a lake. Enjoy the wonderful views over the sea at Guayaquil. Furthermore, the nearest big city is Quito. Guayaquil is in center Ecuador.

Things to do

So if you have to come here anyway, why not turn this into a sightseeing stop? If you have limited time, make sure to at least come here. You will also find a reconstructed pirate ship up here which houses a bar. It wasn’t open when I came here, but if you go in there, let me know how you like it.

Our hostel didn’t sell bus tickets and appearantly neither do travel agencies, which meant we had to make a special trip back to the bus terminal the morning of our departure to make sure we had seats.
